Current Projects

Our current projects span several key areas, focusing on sustainable resource management, digital transformation, and community development. These initiatives aim to drive positive environmental impact, enhance efficiency through digital tools, and support economic growth by engaging local communities. Each project contributes to a resilient, future-focused framework, ensuring resources are managed responsibly and that communities are empowered through technology and financial inclusivity.

JRBA-PB Water use survey

The JRBA-PB Water Use Survey is a key initiative led by Eswatini’s Joint River Basin Authorities Project Board, aimed at improving water resource management and sustainability. In partnership with the Netherlands’ Blue Deal program, this survey collects data on water usage patterns across Eswatini’s river basins to inform policies that balance community needs, economic demands, and environmental conservation. Through community involvement and initiatives like the Eswatini Youth in Water Initiative, the project also focuses on educating the next generation on sustainable practices, ensuring long-term water security and resilience for the country.

The project aims to assess the current retail fuel supply network in Eswatini to guide the regulatory decisions of the Eswatini Energy Regulatory Authority (ESERA). This involves analyzing the distribution of existing fuel service stations, national fuel consumption patterns, and identifying gaps in supply and oversupplied areas. The goal is to optimize resource allocation, improve market efficiency, and ensure sustainable development of the retail fuel network. Key objectives include creating an interactive GIS map for better visualization, supporting economic growth, promoting equitable access to fuel services across urban and rural regions, and addressing environmental concerns. By leveraging KPIs such as capacity utilization, traffic density, and profit margins, the project provides strategic recommendations for future infrastructure development and operational improvements in Eswatini’s fuel retail sector.
